MORE GREAT NEWS!

Donny had a good night and so far a good morning. His platelet count is up which is good, his kidney count is down which is good and his blood pressure and heart rate continue to remain stable. Our goal for the next few days will be to take him out of the induced coma and more into a tranquilized state. Overall "he looks good" per his doctor this morning.

Although he is not yet responding, he did open his eyes again today. The fluid is slowing dissipating and he physically looks as handsome as ever to me!! His hand is improving and looks so much better.

His condition remains critical, but we are finally seeing signs of improvement. I know his determination has never wavered and our family is more encouraged than ever.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and please don't let up on the prayers, we once again have proof that "prayers do get answered"!

Love to all, Darla

PS - My girlfriend Tammy that had the triple bypass is doing amazingly well and going home on Monday. My sister is recovering nicely as well. Thank you for including them in your prayers.

"It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood" as Mr. Roger's always said. The last 24 hours has really seen the positive signs you've been looking for and we've all been praying for.

We know it's going to be a long journey, but now we positively know that Donny is now helping with his recovery.

Prayers will be continuing.

Love-Mary Ann and Everette

Darla,
I have been praying for all of you daily. I am glad to hear that Donny is making progress. I will keep saying my prayers. I will never forget the time he played Bartender for all of the CAFB gals. He was awesome.

Good... good... good!!! Way to go Donny! Darla, I have faith in Donny and know that he will be back with us soon. I log on every day and check on his progress and encourage everyone I talk to to pray him. My friend, Jim from Arkansas, said to give you his regards and wish Donny well. I keep saying, "Donny IS getting stronger. Donny IS going to come home soon. Donny IS going to get and earful from Darla." (ok.. I don't really say that last part too often...) I love you guys and I am SO GRATEFUL that Donny IS getting better. This IS going to be a great week! THANK YOU, GOD!!!Take care, Darla, and thanks for keeping us up to date.
